The Next Annual get-together will be in Ouray, Colorado

In the event of inclement weather, look inside the cafe in the Beaumont--the Ouray Ore House Bar & Grille ( http://www.beaumonthotel.com/dine.html )
It is behind the Buckskin Booksellers--also in the Beaumont.

Early arrivals could meet the same place and time on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, Sept 01.
Take a copy of Atlas Shrugged to display on your table, or wear a shirt, hat, button or whatever with some Objectivist image or wording.

At the Friday, 2011-Sep-02 Annual get-together, I had lunch with Linda from Texas and with Stuart, the member of this site who has moved to Ouray and thoroughly enjoys his decision. During lunch he gave us details about his move and what it is like to live and work in Ouray.

After lunch, we spent some time with Bob Stoufer of Buckskin Booksellers which is located right next to the patio, inside the Beaumont. Had he not been working, he would have joined us for lunch. In addition to a large collection of books, he also had Tee shirts, one of which featured an image of the original cover of Atlas Shrugged.

After the meet-up, I took this picture of the patio, the bookstore (immediately to the right of the patio) and the hotel.

I only remembered the get-together yesterday afternoon (Sat Sep 1st 2012). I figured that it was too late for anyone to make a trip to Ouray unless they were already here so I didn't post. I did sit outside the Ouray Ore House Bar & Grille (http://www.beaumonthotel.com/dine.html) (the restaurant in the patio now) from 11:30am-12:05pm today (9/2/2012) but no-one showed. It is closed on Sun's. A couple did show up, and they had books (couldn't tell what they we're initially), but they were just tourists.
